Surf & Sand

Surf & Sand is an abstract exploration of movement, texture, and balance. Flowing coils of rope extend from the frame like liquid, creating a sense of gentle motion and release. At the top, sand-colored knots ground the composition with earthy tones and tactile weight.

I had no specific image in mind when creating this piece. Instead, I followed the soothing rhythm of the colors and allowed the coiled rope to flow naturally across the frame. The result is an organic work that invites quiet reflection through its softness, movement, and balance.
