Transitions in Flight traces the moment when you’re no longer standing still, but not yet sure where you’ll land. Coiled yarns arc and lift across the surface, echoing wings in motion and the tug of gravity below.  Celebrating the many transitions we experience in life — the quiet lifts, sudden drops, and in‑between glides.
Each knot and curve traces a moment of change: leaving, arriving, hesitating, leaping. Â

Transitions in Flight is a visual map of motion and becoming, honoring the ways we rise, circle back, and find new currents to carry us forward. I built this piece by layering knots, loops, and curves that lean into one another for support. The colors shift from grounded tones to lighter hues, mirroring the way real transitions feel in a body: heavy, hopeful, and in motion all at once.
