Autumn Tree

Autumn Tree marks an important turning point in my artistic process. It was the first piece in which I seriously experimented with coiling yarn instead of knotting it—a proof of concept that opened a new direction in my work.

Completed in the fall, the piece reflects the changing season. Light orange and golden tones suggest leaves drifting from the trees, while deeper brown shades form the trunk and branches. Through color, texture, and coiled yarn, Autumn Tree captures both the beauty of letting go and the beginning of something new.
